The 16th century Camozzini Palace is immersed in an ancient and peaceful quarter of Verona known as "Cadrega".

Surrounded by prestigious buildings and palaces it is situated in the vicinity of the beautiful and historic church of S.Eufemia.

This elegant residence belonged to several generations of noble familiesand was built on foundations of buildings dating back to roman times ( elements are still visible in the cellars). It has been carefully preserved the typical features of Venetian building, even through the changing tastes of the times.

While the outside facade follows the original style of the late Renaissance, the decorations and frescoes found inside were updated during the neoclassical period.

We can breath the same sensations of history in the "Antica Verona" apartment, located inside of the Camozzini Building.

Situated on the second floor of the palace, and easily reached from the lift, the apartment offers a view of the square in front the main facade.

The rooms are furnished with elegance and sobriety in a classic style, with Venetian flooring, the warm wooden ceilings and the colours of "trompe l'oeil" in the living room reflect authentic Venetian tradition and convey a feeling of leisure and of great quality of life.

The apartment has a strategic position in the centre of Verona, halfway between Piazza Erbe and the Cathedral (Duomo). This allows guests to walk to all the major monuments, museums and churches of the city easily, without having to depend on troublesome transfers with public transport or long journeys on foot.

For Opera lovers, the Arena is easily reachable on foot in about 10 minutes.

The apartment includes heating, air conditioning.

The apartment with a total floor of 60 mq, consists of the entrance, the living room/dining room with TV and sofa bed (Single), the bedroom with a double bed and sofa bed (2 singles), the bathroom with an upright bath and shower, the complete kitchen with microwave and washing machine.

On request a baby cot is also available.

The apartment "Antica Verona" is fully stocked with dishes, cutlery, and everything necessary to cook with.

Salt, oil and balsamic vinegar, sugar, coffee and tea are already supplied in the kitchen.

A large and well-stocked supermarket is less than 10 min. walk from the apartment, where you can buy food to cook at home, without having to spend a cent on restaurants.

If you want to by pre-cooked food, the nearest Grill (5 min. on foot) will offer you roast chicken cooked fresh every day, as well as or veal with tuna sauce, or other local specialities for you to try. 

Visit Verona by bicycle

Near the "Antica Verona" apartment you can find a shop for renting bicycles for the day, to see Verona and its surroundings while getting some exercise and without having to depend by public transport.

Verona is right at the centre of a group of cities in the north of Italy with the highest concentration of monuments of artistic interest: the nearest is Mantova, that can be reached by train in just 40 minutes, as well as Venice, Milan and Bologna which can all be reached by train in different directions in about 1 ½ hrs.
